Welcome to Change The World 101.  This website as you might imagine is about how to change the world.  The idea for this website came about after my friend and former partner split ways on RIPhoto.com (now split in two RIPhoto.com and RI-Photo.com/RIFoto.com) and the resulting conversation that followed.  What he told me was “you are acting like you changed the world with it”.  I thought about that for a while afterwards and realized most people do not really realize that it is actually within their grasp to change the world! 

Sure you may not change the entire world right away, but if you work on making small positive changes within your circle of influence those changes may one day affect the entire world, and even if they do not you have changed your corner of the world.  Further you have changed yourself and you begin to look outward more instead of inward so much (while there is a time and place for looking inward, the point is we cannot dwell there).  Take for example Barack Obama; whether you hate him or love him, disagree or agree with his policies, he has made tremendous change possible and has made the concept of change a sort of maxim.  He started changing the world in very small ways even as a community organizer on the streets of Chicago, when no one ever dreamed he would be President of the United States.  He began by looking outward to how he could help the community instead of looking at how the community could help him,  John F. Kennedy and certainly many other great leaders before him also communicated  the concept of  “Ask not what your country can do for you; ask what you can do for your country.”

 Changing the world is not easy, but it is quite possible!
